The Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) has warned all tourists flocking tourism resorts across East Java on a possible accident following strong wind and heavy rain in the areas in days to come.
The BMG's weather forecast Sinta Andayani said on Saturday that heavy rain and strong winds would start striking the province on Sunday and had potencies to cause landslide, whirlwind and flood.
“We have predicted that heavy rain may occur in Java island today due to strong air pressure,” she told state news agency Antara on Saturday.
“Thus, we demand all tourists to stay alert on any possible accidents caused by bad weather,” she added. (ewd)
